Selene · About

Supplements that move
with your cycle,
not against it.

Selene was built on a simple premise: if your hormones follow a monthly rhythm, your supplements should too. The research supports this. Most supplement brands ignore it.

What we believe

01

Phase-synced, not static

Your estrogen, progesterone, LH, and FSH levels change dramatically across your cycle. A static daily pill ignores this entirely. Selene builds rituals that adapt to where you actually are — follicular, ovulatory, luteal, menstrual — because the research shows that timing matters as much as dose.

02

Conditions, not symptoms

Most supplement brands sell "hormone balance" to everyone. Selene serves specific hormonal conditions — PCOS, endometriosis, PMDD, perimenopause, thyroid disease, fertility — because the biochemistry of each is genuinely different. Berberine that helps androgen-dominant PCOS can cause reactive hypoglycemia in lean PCOS. That distinction matters.

03

Research citations, not marketing claims

Every ingredient in every Selene ritual links to the primary research: the RCT, the meta-analysis, the mechanistic study. We cite doses used in research and match them. We note when evidence is strong and when it's preliminary. You can read everything we relied on.

04

Clinician-compatible, not a replacement

Selene is not a diagnostic tool and not a prescription service. It is a research translation layer — taking what the published literature says about your condition and building a supplement protocol that supports it. We include a clinical data export so your provider can see exactly what you're taking and why.

How we work

Research basisPeer-reviewed literature — RCTs, meta-analyses, mechanistic studies. Every ingredient dose matches the evidence.
Clinical advisoryReviewed by board-certified reproductive endocrinologists, OB-GYNs, and integrative medicine physicians.
Condition coverage14 hormonal conditions and sub-profiles. Each one has been modeled from the biochemistry up, not templated from generic supplement advice.
Reading level commitmentEvery piece of content exists in two versions: plain language (grade 6-8) and mechanistic depth (graduate level). We don't simplify at the cost of accuracy.

“Women's hormonal health has been systematically under-researched and over-simplified. We exist to make the research that does exist actually usable.”
