Mitochondrial energy support for oocyte maturation. Bentov et al. 2010: CoQ10 supplementation improved oocyte competence in women with diminished ovarian reserve. Ubiquinol form is pre-reduced and more bioavailable.
Folate (5-MTHF)800mcg
Methylfolate form bypasses the MTHFR enzyme. Required for DNA methylation in the developing oocyte. Lamers 2004: significantly higher plasma folate with methylfolate vs. folic acid.
Vitamin D3 (lichen)2000 IU
Vitamin D receptors expressed in granulosa cells. Farzadi 2015: women with serum 25(OH)D <20 ng/mL had 34% lower clinical pregnancy rates per IVF cycle.
Omega-3 (algae DHA/EPA)1.5g
DHA incorporation into oocyte membranes supports fertilization competence. Hammiche 2011: higher omega-3 index associated with better embryo morphology scores.
